The most general among these symptoms is severe itchiness around and/or in the vagina. The itching may not always be there but it can get really terrible. A woman can found it hard to walk and even ride her bike once the itchiness begins. Other symptoms may include the following:
1. Redness, swelling, irritation and burning feeling in the vagina and/or the surrounding areas.
2. Frequent urination or extreme pain when urinating; especially when urine touches the area. The sore experience is due to the inflammation of urinary opening.
3. anxiety or pain during sexual intercourse.
4. An abnormal vaginal discharge. This discharge does not have bad odor and really smells like yeast or bread. The discharge looks the same as cottage or ricotta cheese. It can vary from a not too thick and clumpy white to a thin light yellow colored stuff.
You may not experience all the symptoms mentioned above, for example, you may not have vaginal discharge. The best thing to do upon discovering some of the aforementioned vaginal yeast disease symptoms is to ask your gynecologist. Doctors are helpful since lots of of the symptoms can be puzzling with other vaginal infections or even STDs. It's really too terrible to suffer from any vaginal infections but knowing the sign can help you to be cautious about it and you can prevent it as soon as it gets to start.
